Physical Appearance: Vampires are humanoids that evolved from an invasive, serpent-like demon species; as such, modern vampires retain some serpentine traits. Overall, vampires have a mostly humanoid appearance with certain snakelike attributes, such as slit pupils and retractable fangs. Their fangs are used to deliver venom, which can then be synthesized into a powerful narcotic. Vampires age at rate parallel to humans until they reach their early to mid twenties, at which point their aging begins to slow exponentially, resulting in an average life expectancy of 230 years.

First-Tier Vampires have the following abilities
Effort: Your Effort is 1.
Physical Nature: You have a Might Edge of 0, a Speed Edge of 1, and an Intellect Edge of 0.

Bite Attack: You are practiced in making bite attacks that deal damage as a medium weapon. You regain Might points equal to half the amount of damage you inflict on a foe (after Armor is accounted for; round down for the total).

Supernatural Charm: You are strangely persuasive. You have an advantage on tasks related to persuading and deceiving.

Light Sensitive: Bright light, especially sunlight, is a weakness; when exposed to sunlight or strong UV light, the use of Effort is required to complete actions. Adversely, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t
discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Blood Driven: You’re always hungry for blood, especially when you force yourself not to act on that yearning. Whenever you descend one step on the damage track, you must succeed on a difficulty 2 Intellect defense roll or you are compelled to try to bite the closest living creature and drink its blood. You continue attacking until you move one step up the damage track or until you succeed on a subsequent difficulty 3 Intellect defense roll.

Vampiric Heritage: To spite mythology and folklore there are only 2 ways to become a Vampire. Either the player is born a Vampire (Pure-blood) or he/she transitioned following a traumatic experience (Born Again). You also gain a connection to a House (discuss with GM how this connection affects your role in the team and overall story).

Additional Equipment: When you begin to play with this descriptor, you gain a pair of Ray-band sunglasses which disguise your telltale eyes and offer you protection from sunlight sensitivity.
